A number of showers develop and some may be heavy but the far south of England should stay chiefly dry. Maximum temperatures of 21 to 25 Celsius.
Thursday Night
A few showers to come this evening and tonight across Scotland, north west England and Northern Ireland with the rest of Britain dry with some late sunshine in the evening then mostly clear during the night with some patchy mist developing before morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 11 to 16C.
Friday
A warm day to come with most central and eastern areas dry with sunny spells for the morning and the afternoon. A number of showers may develop across Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and Wales for the afternoon. A few of the showers may be heavy. Any showers fade away early this evening leaving a dry night across much of the country with patches of mist forming by dawn. Maximum temperatures of 21 to 26 Celsius.
Saturday
Another warm day across England and Wales. Expect a good deal of dry weather across the country today but scattered showers will be found across Wales, northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Central and southern England looks mainly dry but rather cloudy. In the evening rain is expected to sweep up across England and Wales then into Scotland in the night and this looks heavy with a risk of thunder. Maximum temperatures of 22 to 27 Celsius.
