Heavy, thundery rain across Scotland and north east England clears away this morning. This will be replaced by showers. Across England and Wales it's an unsettled day of sunshine, cloud and showers. The showers may be heavy with a risk of thunder. Few if any showers to come across the south east of England and East Anglia. Maximum temperatures of 20 to 24 Celsius.

Sunday Night
Still some showers to come across the country this evening. Overnight the showers may become more widespread and heavy across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and north west England. Lots of low cloud but dry across the rest of Britain. Expect minimum temperatures of 14 to 17C.

Monday
Unsettled across the United Kingdom today with a mixture of sunshine, cloud and showers. The showers becoming frequent and heavy with a chance of thunder. The south east of England may stay dry with the best of the sunshine. The showers fade to western coasts this evening. Overnight rain comes in across northern Scotland and Cornwall. Maximum temperatures of 20 to 24 Celsius.

Tuesday
Outbreaks of rain across Wales and south west England in the morning will spread into much of England during the afternoon with showers expected across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The rain and showers clears this evening with most areas dry overnight. Maximum temperatures of 18 to 22 Celsius.
