Monday
A breezy, unsettled day. Lots of showers to come across the country today, interspersed with sunnier spells. These showers will become heavy with a risk of thunder, especially in the north and west with fewer showers across East Anglia and the south east. Pleasantly warm with maximum temperatures of 20 to 23 Celsius.

Monday Night
Still some showers to come across the country in the first part of this evening before they fade away to late sunshine. Overnight showers may linger across Cumbria with an area of more persistent rain coming in across northern Scotland. Dry across the rest of Britain tonight. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 14C.

Tuesday
An area of rain may affect the extreme south of England while confidence is low on how far north this may extend. Rather windy in the far south as well. The rest of Britain will again have an afternoon of sunshine and showers after a dry morning. These showers will also turn heavy. Rain may linger across south west England and the southern coast tonight with showers across northern Scotland. Maximum temperatures of 19 to 22 Celsius.

Wednesday
Thursday sees outbreaks of heavy rain across south west England spreading north into Wales, Northern Ireland and northern England. Showers are expected across the rest of England and Scotland. Tonight an area of rain is expected across Scotland and Northern Ireland with England and Wales mainly dry. Maximum temperatures of 19 to 23 Celsius.
