Wednesday
An area of cloud and rain spreading north through Ireland, southwest England and Wales early this morning. This rain will spread through central England in the early morning, and then East Anglia by late morning, only the far southeast of England is likely to be dry. Mainly dry through Northern Ireland and northern England at first, but cloud increases here bringing some rain by lunchtime, this turning more persistent into the afternoon,e specially in the northwest. Scotland will be mainly dry with sunny spells, although an odd shower in the far north. Tops at 25C around the London area, more generally 19 to 22C.
Wednesday night
An area of rain across Ireland and northern Englanf tonight, some of it becoming heavy in the west. The rain reaching southern Scotland later in the night as the south of northern England becomes drier. Broken cloud for the rest of Wales and England. A few spots of drizzle on hills, but dry overall. Dry for central and northern Scotland with a fair amount of cloud here. Lows at 11 to 17C.
Thursday
A large area of low pressure is just to the west of Ireland on Thursday. This is going to be bringing brisk winds, cloud and rain across Ireland. More rain affects the west of Scotland as a warm front clears north of Scotland. Most places are then going to be dry with good spells of sunshine. It is going to be feeling very warm too. Highs at 31C in southern England, 15C in the far north of Scotland.
Friday
The area of low pressure stays to the west of Ireland on Friday. A cold front passes east and this may trigger some thundery showers across Scotland and parts of England as it clears eastwards. Sunny spells and scattered showers then follow from the west. More persistent showers and evening some rain in western Scotland with sunshine and showers in Ireland. Highs at 21 to 31C, but cooling from the west as the day progresses.
