While the odd, isolated shower can't be ruled out, most parts of the United Kingdom will have a dry day today. Some patchy rain will affect northwest Scotland. Any patchy mist in the south soon clears. There will be a fair amount of cloud around at times but also some breaks will allow a few sunny spells. Winds will be lighter today. Temperatures will remain above normal with highs of 15 to 19 Celsius.

Saturday Night
That rain in the far northwest of Scotland this evening may just down across western parts of Northern Ireland in the night. The bulk of Britain though will be dry with occasional clear spells leading to some mist patches to develop across central and southern England. A cooler night to come and it becomes windy across Scotland with gales in the far northwest. Expect minimum temperatures of 7 to 11C.

Sunday
Continued windy across Scotland in across Northern Ireland today. Looks cloudier across northwest England, western Scotland and Northern Ireland with sporadic outbreaks of mainly light rain. Elsewhere it will be dry and fine with the best of the sunshine in the south of England. Still some rain to come across western parts of Scotland this evening and tonight. Elsewhere it will remain dry. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 Celsius.

Monday sees rain again across Scotland and Northern Ireland with England and Wales remaining fair and dry with sunny spells, although more cloudy across northern England. Outbreaks of light, drizzly rain may affect western Wales, northwest England and western Scotland tonight. It remains quite windy across northern Britain today. Maximum temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.
