Monday
A cloudy and damp day across much of the north and east of Wales, central, eastern and northern England. Windy in the east, cold for all as well. Drier through more southern parts of England and probably southern Wales. Outbreaks of rain in central and eastern Scotland. The best sunshine is expected in western Scotland and across western and southern Scotland. Temperatures reaching a cold 9 to 12C for most, up to 14C in any sunshine in southwest England and western Ireland.

Monday night
Cloudy and damp in central and eastern England. Northern and eastern Scotland staying with cloud and some outbreaks of rain. More western and southern areas are going to be dry with clearer spells appearing. A tendency for the drier weather to edge east through the day. Lows near 7 to 10C.

Tuesday
Low pressure east of East Anglia on Tuesday. An occluded front wrapped around the low bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain over eastern parts of England. A ridge of high pressure building into Scotland and the west of the UK. This brings some good sunny spells to much of Ireland, Wales, western England and Scotland, although rain returns to the far southwest of Ireland later. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Wednesday
Low pressure in mid-Atlantic will push fronts north through the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. These bring outbreaks of rain into Ireland, Wales and England, with most of the rain tending to be in more western areas. Drier for most of Scotland with some bright spells to the north, but cloud and outbreaks of rain arriving in the south. Becoming drier and perhaps brighter in southern Ireland and southwest England later. Tops at 11 to 17C.
