Friday
Increasingly windy today, especially across western Britain. After a dry start, outbreaks of rain and drizzle push in across south west England and western Wales. In the afternoon this spreads north into the Irish Sea affecting Northern Ireland, all of Wales into western Scotland, north west England and across Northern Ireland it looks heaviest. Feeling chilly in this rain area despite mild temperatures today. Eastern and central parts of England will start quite misty with some dense fog patches that will lift to low cloud. Expect highs of 12 to 16 Celsius.

Friday Night
It remains quite breezy into the evening and the night. East Anglia, the south east of England and perhaps the East Midlands will be dry this evening. The rest of Britain will wet with spells of rain, this heavy across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. The night looks cloudy, misty and damp across most parts of the country with spells of rain. A mild night with minimum temperatures of 9 to 12C.

Saturday
Another rather breezy but mild day to come. Wet across northern Scotland with spells of heavy rain. Elsewhere expect a day of cloud, sunnier spells and showers while an area of more persistent rain may threaten the south east, though confidence is low. Much of the country will be breezy and dry for the evening and night except for showers around western coasts and across south west England. Maximum temperatures of 14 to 18 Celsius.

Sunday
A windy day across England and Wales. An area of moderate to heavy rain sweeps up across England and Wales this morning as showers follow into the West Country. By the afternoon that rain will be across Scotland with showers across western England and Wales, dry across central and eastern England and quite sunny. Rain across Scotland this evening turns light tonight. Most of the country will have a dry, breezy night to come. Maximum temperatures of 12 to 17 Celsius.
