Sunday
A windy day to come across England and Wales and for much of the United Kingdom expect a mixture of cloud, sunny spells and blustery showers, some of which will be heavy with a risk of thunder. There will be a line of heavy showers in the south west moving into Wales and into central and northern parts of England then into Scotland through the day. Expect highs of 14 to 17 Celsius.

Sunday Night
It remains quite windy into the evening and night. Still some heavy showers may affect Scotland and perhaps north west England. Overnight another area of rain and drizzle may spread in across south west England. A mild night with minimum temperatures of 9 to 12C.

Monday
Monday looks very windy across Wales and the southern half of England and wet here too with outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain. There is some uncertainty on the northern extent of the rain and could spread further north but at the moment, northern England and Scotland may be dry. Most parts of the country should be wet and windy but mild overnight. Maximum temperatures of 14 to 16 Celsius.

Tuesday
The windy regime continues today. Rain in the morning sweeps away quite quickly as sunny spells develop. A number of showers may affect western parts of the United Kingdom with eastern areas mainly dry and mostly sunny. Showers persist in the west into the evening and night with central and eastern areas mostly clear and dry. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 18 Celsius.
