Monday
Today looks very windy across Wales and the southern half of England and wet here too with outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain in the south west and across Wales sweeping into much of England this morning. Here it stays wet into the afternoon with gales and wind gusts of 40-50mph expected. Apart from some showers in the north west, much of Scotland and Northern Ireland should be dry. Expect highs of 13 to 16 Celsius.
Monday Night
It remains very windy into the evening and night. Outbreaks of heavy rain may affect Northern Ireland, western Scotland, the far west of Wales and Cornwall and in the night this spreads across all of Scotland and into north west England, Wales and south west England. Mainly and but cloudy across eastern England. A very mild night to come with minimum temperatures of 12 to 14C.
Tuesday
The windy weather continues into Tuesday. Rain in the morning clears away from western parts of Britain as sunny spells and showers develop. The east turns drier from around mid afternoon. Showers persist in the west into the evening and night with central and eastern areas are mostly clear and dry. It does remain windy overnight. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 17 Celsius.
Wednesday
Windy and generally a cloudy morning with some patchy rain across the country. The winds lessen somewhat in the afternoon as it brightens up with sunnier spells. Scattered showers will be found across western parts of Scotland, England and Wales. Much of the country should have a dry evening and night. Maximum temperatures of 12 to 16 Celsius.
