This is likely cause transport disruption as well as structural damage. Heavy rain clears the south spreads up northern England where it clears by afternoon. In the afternoon strongest of the winds should have moderated staying quite windy. As the rain moves north, heavy, blustery showers will replace the rain. Expect highs of 10 to 14 Celsius.

Much of the country will have a fine, dry morning with sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain come in across Scotland and Northern Ireland during the afternoon. England and Wales remains dry and mostly sunny. That rain becomes lighter moving into northern England during the night. To the north and south expect a dry night with clear spells.
