A breezy and cooler day across the country. Many central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will be fine and dry with good spells of sunshine. Showers are likely across northern and western areas and a few may be heavy. Expect highs of 9 to 12 Celsius.
Monday Night
Continued windy for the evening and night across Scotland. Any showers in the west will soon be fading away by this evening with most places dry with clear spells. Overnight it will be dry, clear and colder and in some sheltered areas, expect a touch of frost. Minimum temperatures of 3 to 6C.
Wednesday
In the morning outbreaks of rain are expected to spread in across Northern Ireland, Scotland, north west and south west England along with Wales with the east dry and sunnier. That rain moves into most areas in the afternoon. That rain will be quite light in the east. The winds will strengthen with gales around western exposed coasts. The rain tends to clear most areas by tonight leaving a few showers in the west. Windy in the north today with maximum temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.
Thursday
Windy in the north, breezy in the south. Northern Scotland may see some persistent and heavy rain. Wales and western parts of England and Northern Ireland will see some showers through the day. Eastern and central areas will be dry with some good sunny spells. Showers continue in the west into the evening and night while rain may reach Cornwall in the night. Dry with clear spells for the rest of Britain. Maximum temperatures of 11 to 14 Celsius.
