A lot of cloud to come across Wales and central and southern parts of England with sporadic outbreaks of rain, overnight this may be heavier across Wales and the south west with rain then into northern England. A dry night to come across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Minimum temperatures of 6 to 10C.

Friday looks like wet day across England and Wales with spells of heavy rain. Scotland and Northern Ireland may be driest and sunniest. The rain clears from the west during the evening. A dry night to come but rain moves into Northern Ireland before morning. A windy day across the country. Maximum temperatures of 9 to 14 Celsius.

Saturday there is the potential for some strong winds and heavy rain across the country with gusts to 60mph. Confidence in the detail is low at the moment. The rain sweeps away into the North Sea through the evening leaving plenty of heavy, blustery showers across northern and western parts of the country. Maximum temperatures of 7 to 12 Celsius.
