A dry night to come but rain moves into Northern Ireland before morning. A windy day across the country. Maximum temperatures of 9 to 14 Celsius.

Saturday there is the potential for some strong winds and heavy rain across the country with gusts to 60mph. Confidence in the detail is low at the moment. The rain sweeps away into the North Sea through the evening leaving plenty of heavy, blustery showers across northern and western parts of the country. Maximum temperatures of 7 to 12 Celsius.
