A dry day across Northern Ireland and eastern Scotland with sunny spells while some heavy showers affect western parts of Scotland. Expect highs of 10 to 13 Celsius.

Rain across eastern, central and south east England this evening will be clearing away by tonight. The showers in the north west will also die away this evening. Much of the country then will have a dry night and with clear skies and lighter winds, a frost is likely across Scotland and northern England. Minimum temperatures of 2 to 7C north to south.
Saturday
Saturday sees an area of heavy rain sweeping in across the country and clears to sunny spells and showers across Wales, the West Midlands and south west England by the afternoon. The rain clears all areas during evening leaving a dry night with clear spells. It becomes windy from the afternoon with gusts to 50mph across England and Wales in the evening and first part of the night. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
Sunday
Sunday remains rather windy. Much of the country looks dry and mostly sunny in the morning with showers around western coasts. In the afternoon rain moves into Wales and south west afternoon with heavy rain possible across Wales and central and southern England in the evening. This then clears in the night. A frost may develop in some sheltered northern locations. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
