Saturday sees an area of rain sweeping in across the country and clears to sunny spells and showers across Wales, the West Midlands and south west England by the afternoon. The rain looks heaviest across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England and much lighter across England and Wales. It also becomes windy with gales around western coasts this afternoon. Expect highs of 10 to 13 Celsius.

A windy evening and night with gusts to 50-55mph across England and Wales. Heavy rain is expected across northern Scotland this evening and tonight while heavy showers affect north west England, western Wales and Cornwall. Central and eastern areas may see a few showers but largely dry here tonight. Minimum temperatures of 4 to 8C north to south.
Sunday
Sunday remains rather windy. Much of the country looks dry and mostly sunny in the morning with showers around western coasts. In the afternoon rain may move in across south west afternoon with most places dry and sunny. In the evening that rain may run across southern most counties of England south of the M4 corridor and may be heavy before clearing all but perhaps Kent in the night. A frost may develop in some sheltered northern locations. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
Monday
Any early, residual rain across Kent soon clears and for much of the United Kingdom it will be a breezy and cooler day with all parts dry and mostly sunny. Rain spills in across Northern Ireland in the evening then across all but East Anglia and the south east during the night as milder conditions move in from the west. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.
