Monday
After a cold start and any residual rain across Kent soon clears away, much of the United Kingdom will be breezy and colder on Monday with all parts dry and mostly sunny. Perhaps the odd shower may affect north east England and North Wales and by the end of the afternoon some patchy rain may arrive across Cornwall. Expect highs of 7 to 10 Celsius but feeling colder in a brisk north west wind.

Monday Night
Rain spills in across Northern Ireland in the evening then across all but eastern Scotland, north east England East Anglia and the south east during the night as milder conditions moves into the west. Minimum temperatures of 1 to 6C east to west.

Tuesday
Increasingly windy today. A wet start to the morning for much of the country and the rain looks heavy. Through the course of the morning the rain will be clearing to showers from the west, the rain clearing the far south east early in the afternoon as sunnier spells develop behind the front. Across south west England it may stay cloudy with drizzle. Showers are expected in the west tonight with some patchy rain possible across parts of South Wales and southern England. Winds of 50mph may affect the extreme southern coastal countries of England. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.

Wednesday
Windy today wit rain across Wales and south west England in the morning spill into all of England in the afternoon. Colder to the north with sunny spells and showers around western coasts. The rain will be clearing away from England and Wales in the evening with a good deal of dry weather across the country tonight. Showers will persist around western coasts with strong winds along the channel coast. Maximum temperatures of 7 to 13 Celsius.
