Cloudy, some rain Classic November seiten=4 abk=focus

Saturday
A dry day for the majority of the UK and Ireland as high pressure resides over the south of the UK and Ireland. Misty and murky conditions in the morning for many, with some brighter spells developing in eastern regions of Scotland and England throughout the day. A slow moving cold front brings patchy rain and drizzle to north-west Scotland, becoming more persistent in the afternoon and extending into north-western Ireland. Light winds for most regions, but breezier in northern and western Scotland. Highs 8 to 11C.

Saturday night
Most parts of the UK and Ireland will have light winds overnight. Patchy outbreaks of drizzly rain expected for northern parts of Ireland, plus southern Scotland and northern England. Partly cloudy skies for England and Wales with some mist and fog patches. Cold enough for a frost where skies become clear. Lows 2 to 3C in central and southern Britain. Where cloud is thicker in northern England and Ireland lows are closer to 4 to 6C. For Scotland generally clearer skies allow temperatures to drop more widely to freezing, with lows of -2 to +2C.

Sunday
Outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle continue to affect Ireland and Northern Ireland throughout Sunday. Cloudy and dull skies for most of England and Wales, thick enough for drizzly rain in north Wales and north-western England. Rain becomes more persistent and widespread by evening across these areas. A few brighter spells in the south-east of England during the afternoon. Brighter skies with sunny spells possible in Scotland, but feeling chilly. Some showers in north-west Scotland. Highs 6 to 7C in Scotland, 8 to 10C elsewhere.

Monday
An area of rain becomes heavier across much of northern England and Wales overnight from Sunday into Monday morning. Outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, are likely to affect many parts of England and Wales throughout the middle of the day, slowly moving south-eastwards and becoming lighter and more patchy. Brighter spells develop through the day for Ireland, northern England and Scotland, but with showers around north-western coasts. This will turn increasingly wintry across the Highlands. Feeling increasingly chilly in the north with highs just 6 to 7C. Slightly milder in southern Britain with highs 9 to 10C.
