Thursday
A rather cloudy day again for many today. There will be some outbreaks of drizzle here and there, but some brighter conditions in eastern Scotland. Little change into the afternoon with more cloud and mainly light winds through most of England and Wales. Some drizzle in northern Wales, northwest England and western Scotland. The highest chance of any brighter spells will be through eastern Scotland and northeast England. Highs at 7 to 9C.

Thursday night
A cloudy night to come. Outbreaks of drizzle and rain will become more persistent through Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest England later in the night. Colder air reaching Scotland later turning the rain to snow on the Highlands. Drier further south with any rain being light and patchy. Lows near 3 to 7C.

Friday
A cold front clear south through the country on Friday taking showery outbreaks of rain with it. A few flakes of snow for the hills of northern England and Wales. Brighter, showery and windy weather follows from the north. Some of the showers will be turning heavy, most of them in more northern and western areas. The best of the sunshine in the east. Highs at 6 to 9C but falling through the day.

Saturday
A ridge of high pressure builds through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. It will be a cool day but one with good spells of sunshine. A few showers on the coasts of East Anglia. Thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain moving into Scotland as a warm front crosses during the afternoon. Highs at 7 to 9C.
