Windy across northern Scotland this morning then less windy with some rain in the north west of Scotland today. Much of the United Kingdom should be dry today but expect a good deal of cloudy. Some breaks may bring a few sunny spells, mainly to parts of south west England and western Wales. Expect highs of 7 to 9 Celsius.
Sunday Night
Light rain will persist in the north west of Scotland with lots of showers across the Northern Isles. For much of southern Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland it's dry into the evening and night and generally staying cloudy but where cloud breaks occur expect a frost. Expect minimum temperatures down to 1 to 6 Celsius.
Monday
Overall a largely cloudy day to come across much of the United Kingdom and this will be thick enough at times to produce some patchy light rain and drizzle across Wales, south west England and western Scotland. A few sunny spells develop across East Anglia and the south east. Windy in the north this evening and tonight with light rain across northern Scotland. Cloudy but dry across the rest of Britain. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 7 Celsius.
Tuesday
It becomes windy in the north today with gales tonight across Scotland. An area of light rain is expected across Northern Ireland. Not much change across England and Wales where we keep a good deal of cloud but essentially a dry day. In the evening that light rain slips into northern England and may turn a bit heavier in the night as it clears Scotland and Northern Ireland, cloudy and dry in the south. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
