Windy, showers Gales tonight seiten=4 abk=focus
Friday
A windy day with gales across Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. Expect a day of cloud, sunnier spells and showers. The showers look heavy as they merge into longer spells of rain across Scotland, northern parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Expect highs of 6 to 9 Celsius north to south.
Friday Night
Very windy across the country this evening and overnight with gusts of 50mph inland and 60-70mph over the Pennines. Further spells of heavy, showery rain will affect Scotland, north west England and Wales and overnight a band of heavy rain may push up into southern England. Expect minimum temperatures of 5 to 6 Celsius.
Saturday
Very windy across East Anglia and the south east this morning. Outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain across central and southern England will be clearing from the west. A number of showers to come in the north and west today, these wintry over the Scottish hills and the Pennines. Windy but mainly dry into the evening and night with coastal showers in the west. Expect maximum temperatures of 4 to 7 Celsius.
Sunday
Increasingly windy with gales into the west this afternoon. Gales then affect much of the country for the evening and night with gusts of 50-60mph but up to 70mph around exposed coasts and over high ground. Apart from a few showers in the west, much of the country will have a dry day with sunny spells. Cloud thickens to bring rain to Northern Ireland and the far west of England and Wales by the end of the afternoon. This leads to a wet and windy evening and night with spells of heavy rain and a risk of flooding. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 10 Celsius.
