Sunday
A rather cold start with some frost and icy patches across the country. It does become increasingly windy with gales developing around western coasts. After a dry start to the morning outbreaks of rain spread in across Wales and south west England this morning with eastern areas having some sunshine. In the afternoon that rain spread east into most areas and will be heavy across western parts of Britain adding to the flooding risk. Expect highs of 4 to 9 Celsius north to south.

Sunday Night
It stays very windy into the evening and the night. Heavy spells of rain to come across the country this evening then overnight it clears Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England followed by showers. A milder night with minimum temperatures of 4 to 9 Celsius.

Monday
Continued windy with further gales in the west up through the Irish Sea. Rain across central and southern parts of England clears this morning but it may linger across Kent and Sussex all day. Elsewhere it looks like a mix of sunny spells, cloud and showers. Most of the showers will be found in the north and the west. Some of the showers may be heavy. Windy into the evening and night with showers around western and southern coasts. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius.

Tuesday
An area of rain may affect South Wales and the far south of England through the course of the day and the night. Drier and sunnier to the north with a risk of scattered showers around western coasts. Another windy day to come across the United Kingdom. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius.
