Sunday
A cold start with a local frost and any dense fog patches across eastern parts of England will lift into low cloud before clearing to sunny spells. A fine, dry and sunny morning except for a few showers around western coasts of northwest Scotland and northwest England. The showers wintry for northern Scotland. It then clouds over in the west and becomes windy as outbreaks of moderate rain spread in across western Scotland, western England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Gusts to 50mph will affect western coasts. The east will stay fair and dry. Expect highs of 3 to 8 Celsius north to south.
Sunday Night
A windy, rather wet evening with spells of rain. This rain clears the west later in the evening then clears all but the far east of England during the night leaving a few showers around western coasts. Expect minimum temperatures of 2 to 6 Celsius.
Monday
Rather windy again, more so in the west. Any residual rain across East Anglia and the south east soon clears. Scattered showers to come around western and southern coasts, a few on the heavy side. For many it looks fair and dry with sunny spells. Showers persist in the west tonight with most places dry with a risk of a frost. Expect maximum temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.
Tuesday
Much of the United Kingdom will be dry for Tuesday with sunny spells and variable cloud. Best of the sunshine will be in the east. It becomes windy this evening and tonight as outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland spread into all of Scotland, northern England, Wales and south west England during the night. Expect maximum temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.
