N & E have best sun Showers in west seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
The best of any sunshine through today will be across more northern and eastern parts of Scotland and England. A few showers are expected here and there, especially this afternoon, but overall these areas should be dry. A different story for more western and southern areas where there will be more cloud. There will be showers too and these area going to be heavy at times. The heavy showers also extending into the Midlands. Highs at 5 to 11C.
Thursday night
A breezy night across England and Wales. There will be further showers, and these merging into longer spells of rain across parts of Wales and southern England. The more persistent rain may reach northern England through the early hours, leading to a risk of some localised flooding. Further showers for Scotland, mostly in the southern half of the country. Lows near 2 to 6C.
Friday
Low pressure is going to be centred through Scotland on Friday, affecting the whole of the country. There will be cloud and some rain in the far north of England and much of Scotland during the course of the day, most of it generally light but a few moderate bursts over the hills. Tending to turn drier in northern England through the afternoon, although still mainly cloudy. Further showers will be drifting into Wales and these could be heavy at times. Brighter for much of the rest of England, but cloud and an area of rain drifting along southern coasts and then up into the southeast. Highs near 6 to 9C.
Saturday
Pressure remains low through the country on Saturday. An area of rain looks set to track north through England and Wales, becoming heavy at times. Rain affecting the central portions of Scotland too. More western areas of the UK and Ireland should be drier, although a few showers are likely. Top temperatures near 4 to 9C.
