Thursday
An area of rain is going to be affecting the west of the UK through Thursday. This becomes more persistent throughout the day. Some heavy bursts of rain may affect almost anywhere from southwest England, through Wales, the Midlands, northwest England and Scotland during the day. There is a risk of thunder in these areas too. Drier weather for eastern parts of England, East Anglia and southeast England. A few showers in Ireland, although these fairly well scattered. Murk and misty in the rain too with hill fog. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, 20C in southeast England.
Thursday night
Rain passing eastwards through central and eastern England overnight. Still some heavier bursts around, especially across northern England and Scotland. Drier conditions across Wales, southern and southwest England, with some showers crossing Ireland. Lows near 7 to 10C for most.
Friday
A fresher and brighter day through Friday. There will be some rain affecting central and eastern parts of Scotland, these fading in the afternoon. A few showers moving through Northern Ireland and into northwest England and north Wales. Elsewhere the day becomes brighter after a cloudier start. It should be mainly dry with some sunny spells here through the afternoon. Highs near 10 to 17C.
Saturday
A moist southwest flow affecting all parts of Ireland and the United Kingdom. There will be rain affecting much of western and northern Ireland as well as Scotland. Showers affecting southern coasts of England, perhaps merging to longer spells of rain as well. More inland areas tending to be drier with some sunny spells developing. Highs at 9 to 17C.
