Friday
Cloud and rain through Scotland and eastern parts of England on Friday morning. There will be some spots of rain over the high ground of Wales and southwest England at first, but this should be fading. Then brighter in central and eastern areas with some sunny spells, but heavy showers forming through Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Highs around 10 to 19C.
Friday night
Some showers in Scotland overnight, some of these affecting the far northwest of England as well. Thicker cloud and some rain in Ireland, Wales and southwest England in the evening, these spreading east through all areas as the night progresses. However, the east of Scotland and eastern England probably staying drier. Lows at 4 to 8C.
Saturday
A warm sector through the UK and Ireland on Saturday, with a warm front passing east and a cold front into Ireland. This results in there being plenty of cloud, mist and murk in the morning with rain, the most persistent of it over northwest England, Wales and southwest England. It may be drier and brighter over northeast Scotland with a few bright spells here. Tops at 11 to 17C.
Sunday
Another rather cloudy day on Sunday with several fronts affecting the country. These will be bringing periods of rain for many during the day. There will be some drier spells too, these most notable in the late morning and early afternoon, before a further band of showery rain spreads from the west later. Becoming drier and brighter through Ireland and western Scotland. Tops at 10 to 20C.
