Friday
A weak cold front clearing southern England on Friday morning brings a few showers with it. These fading and then most of England and Wales will be fine and dry. The fair weather affecting eastern parts of Scotland and most of Ireland too. Thicker cloud will be spreading into western Scotland in the afternoon bringing some outbreaks of rain here, together with increasing winds. Highs at 10 to 17C.
Friday night
A chilly night to come for most of England and Wales with a touch of ground frost. Increasing winds and some spots of rain in northern and western Scotland. Lows around 4 to 8C.
Saturday
A ridge of high pressure will be across southern England on Saturday as low pressure passes to the north of Scotland. A weak cold front will be into northern England and Ireland bringing some outbreaks of rain here. This will be fading and then most places should be dry. A few showers in western Scotland, where it will also be windy. The best of the sunshine across central and southern England. Highs around 9C in northern Scotland, 17C in southern England.
Sunday
Another weak cold front across the far south on Sunday giving the risk of a morning shower. This is going to be clearing away and then the day will be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine for most of England and Wales. Fronts across Scotland will give some cloud and rain here, most in the north and northwest. Tops at 9 to 16C.
