Heavy Showers Developing Risk of Thunderstorms seiten=4 abk=focus
Tuesday
Lots of dry weather with sunny spells to start the day but showers will be developing this morning across Scotland, north east England with a few into the West Midlands and Wales. The showers will be heavy across southeast Scotland. In the afternoon a line of very heavy showers with thunder may develop from eastern Scotland, down through the eastern half of England into East Anglia and could give some torrential downpours of rain in a short period of time. Another area of heavy showers may develop across eastern Wales and from an area west of Hampshire. High temperatures of 16 to 21 Celsius.
Tuesday Night
Those showers will trundle on through a large part of the evening before fading by midnight. Overnight much of the country should be dry with clear spells and some patchy mist, although before morning. A band of rain may reach eastern coasts of England and East Anglia. Minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.
Wednesday
Outbreaks of rain near North Sea coasts are expected to spread into eastern parts of Scotland and eastern parts of England through the course of the day. To the west it should be largely dry with sunny spells giving way to increasing cloud from the east. During the evening that rain may linger across eastern areas before spreading into the Midlands and much of northern England overnight. It will be a windy day, especially across eastern Britain where it will feel cool. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 21 Celsius.
Thursday
Dry with the best of the sunshine across Northern Ireland today. The rest of the country will have a cloudy, breezy and damp morning with outbreaks of rain, some of which could be heavy in places. In the afternoon the rain tends to clear away from East Anglia and the southeast as it brightens up. Overnight it will be staying rather cloudy with a few spots of rain and drizzle in across the country. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 23 Celsius.
