Rain East Best in the West seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
Quite a breezy day with the winds from the north northeast, making it feel quite cool around North Sea coasts. During the course of the day a band of rain near eastern parts of England will be working its way slowly and erratically westward. At present we think eastern parts of England down towards the East Midlands to the southeast England are likely to be the areas affected, although confidence is low on precipitation amounts and areas affect. In this band of rain that could be some locally heavy pulses with isolated thunderstorms. Across the west it looks mainly dry with the best of the sunshine the further west you go. High temperatures of 15 to 23 Celsius.
Thursday Night
During evening we are expecting little change with the risk of some heavy pulses of rain from the East Midlands eastward across eastern England. Overnight this area rain may drift down across the Midlands with still one or two heavy pulses of rain along the frontal zone. Again, confidence is low. The rest of the country should be dry with clear spells across the west. Minimum temperatures of 12 to 15 Celsius.
Friday
A warmer and increasingly humid day to come on Friday. Overall it looks cloudy across central and eastern parts of England still with the chance of rain in places. Elsewhere across the country. It will be brighter and after a dry morning. Just wanted to very isolated showers may develop in the afternoon. These should be very well scattered. During the evening most places should become dry then apart from some rain into Northern Ireland, it should be mainly dry night with clear spells and some patchy mist. Expect maximum temperatures of 20 to 24 Celsius.
Saturday
Warm and humid on Saturday. An area of persistent rain across Northern Ireland may spread in across the western half of Scotland, western parts of Wales and perhaps Cornwall. Elsewhere, after a dry, mostly sunny start, showers will begin to develop going the morning and through the afternoon these are likely to become more widespread and heavy with scattered thunderstorms. Through the course of the evening the showers will tend to fade with some patchy light rain around some western parts of Britain overnight. Expect maximum temperatures of 20 to 26 Celsius.
