Rain North and Northwest Very Warm Southeast seiten=4 abk=focus
Wednesday
For central and eastern parts of England it's going to be fine and dry with hazy sunny spells and here it will become very warm. In the north and west expect more the way of cloud as a front across Scotland with outbreaks of rain spreads south into northern England and Wales, weakening as it does so, although some heavy bursts are likely as it crosses Cumbria and north east England. High temperatures of 19 to 26 Celsius.
Wednesday Night
As rain clears the north east of England early this evening, it just leaves a few scattered showers around the western coasts of Scotland. Overnight most parts of the country dry clear spells and some patchy mist. It will be another mild night with minimum temperatures of 12 to 15 Celsius.
Thursday
Very warm to hot across the country, especially in the southeast. Expect a good deal of dry weather with hazy sunny spells but in the afternoon there is a risk of some heavy showers developing across western parts of Scotland down through eastern parts of England. Here we can expect the odd rumble of thunder. As these showers fade in the evening and another area of heavy, thundery rain may edge into south west England before spreading north into Wales and the southern half of England during the course of the night. Expect maximum temperatures of 21 to 28 Celsius.
Friday
An area of possibly heavy, thundery rain across Wales and southwest England will be migrating north into northern England, then later in the southern Scotland with some heavy showers expected across the Midlands. East Anglia and the southeast could escape with a largely dry day with the best of the sunshine. Area of rain continues moving north and becomes light and patchy across Scotland and northern England during the course of the night. Expect maximum temperatures of 20 to 30 Celsius.
