Thursday
There may be a few spots of rain left in the far southeast very early on Thursday morning. This will soon be clearing. All parts of the country then become dry with good spells of sunshine developing. Little change through the afternoon with more warm sunshine and staying dry apart from an odd light shower over the hills of Scotland and the Pennines. Highs at 17 to 28C.

Thursday night
An area of rain passing north into southern Ireland, southwest England and the south and west of Wales tonight. Showers also running onto southern coasts of England and perhaps into the Midlands and Home Counties by the morning. Probably dry in East Anglia and northern England as well as Northern Ireland and Scotland. Lows at 10C in central Scotland but a muggy 16C in southern England.

Friday
Low pressure off southern Ireland on Friday. Cloud and rain surrounding the low affecting much of Ireland, Wales and the southern and southwestern parts of England as well as the Midlands. Drier and brighter in northern England and Scotland with good sunny spells. Muggy on Friday afternoon with lots of cloud and outbreaks of rain and showers in Ireland, Wales and northern England, these edging into southern Scotland. Central and northern Scotland will be dry with sunny spells. Drier weather with sunshine reaching southern England and southern Wales as well as East Anglia on Friday afternoon. Highs at 20 to 29C.

Saturday
Areas of low pressure will be pushing northwards during Saturday. These will be giving cloud and periods of rain, some of them heavy and thundery. There is the risk of some torrential downpours of rain almost anywhere. At the present time most of the rain likely to be across more central and eastern areas, as well as northern England and Scotland with heavy showers in Ireland. Highs at 19 to 27C.
