Monday
Today high pressure will be building in from the west and is expected to dampen the shower activity. While the odd isolated, heavy shower could develop across eastern parts of Scotland and eastern parts of England during the afternoon, most places are going to have a fine, very warm day with sunny spells. Sea breezes will develop around the coasts later in the afternoon keeping it a bit fresher. We are expecting maximum temperatures of 20 to 28 Celsius.
Monday Night
Any was isolated showers will soon fade away early this evening with most of the country ending today with some warm sunshine. Overnight going to be fine and dry with clear spells and with light winds. Some mist and fog patches will develop by morning. It will be another mild night with minimum temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.
Tuesday
Very warm to hot across the country, especially in the southeast. Any mist patches soon clear. For much of the country it will be another fine, summery day with long spells of sunshine. There is a risk of some showers developing in the afternoon across western parts of Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland. These showers fade by evening with all parts dry overnight. Expect maximum temperatures of 22 to 28 Celsius.
Wednesday
In the morning any early fog and mist patches will readily clear soon after sunrise. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come. There could be showers developing across parts of Wales and the south west towards Hampshire and the afternoon, some could be locally heavy. The showers may linger well into the evening before dying out. It should be a dry night across much of the United Kingdom with clear spells and mist patches. Expect maximum temperatures of 22 to 29 Celsius.
