Wednesday
An area of thundery rain passing eastwards through central, northern and eastern England as well as Scotland this morning. The rain slowly clearing into the North Sea, although heavy and thundery showers remain through Scotland. Drier and brighter weather spreading into Ireland, Wales and the west and south of England with sunny spells. Just an odd shower over the hills, but most areas staying dry. heavy showers over western Scotland continuing through the day. Highs at 16 to 24C.
Wednesday night
Showers affecting eastern and northern areas tonight. These will be clearing eastwards and then it should become dry for most. Skies are going to become clearer as well, although some showers will continue to affect the far west of Ireland and western Scotland. Lows near 7 to 13C.
Thursday
A ridge of high pressure builds through the UK and Ireland on Thursday.This is going to be bringing fair conditions for most. There will be spells of sunshine and these last throughout the day. An odd shower affects northern and western areas, these being well scattered. Temperatures rising to 17 to 23C.
Friday
Low pressure will be centred to the west of Ireland on Friday. An occluded front will be moving east through Ireland bringing showery bursts of rain. Further cloud and some showery rain may affect southeastern coasts where a front is close by. Some afternoon showers forming in eastern parts of England and Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry with sunny spells and cloud increasing from the west. Temperatures at 16 to 24C.
