Northern Ireland and western Scotland and north western parts of northwest England may get by with a dry day in the best of the sunshine. East Anglia and the southeast and also have a dry morning but showers across the rest of the country will tend to become more widespread and heavy as we go through the day with the risk of some torrential, thundery downpours in the south. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 22 Celsius.
Thursday Night
This evening remains the threat of some heavy showers across Scotland into northern and eastern parts of England with the rest of the country generally dry. Overnight most of the shower activity should stay clear spells although few showers may persist across southern Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.
Friday
Another showery day to come across much of United Kingdom as we go through the day, again the showers are likely to become more widespread and heavy. The exception being across southwest England and eastern parts of Northern Ireland where it looks driest the best of the sunshine. Still a few showers to come across the Midlands this evening before most parts of the country turn dry clear spells overnight. Before morning. Some rain may affect northwest Scotland. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.

Windy across Scotland today with an area of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning spreading into northern England and western Wales in the afternoon. Scattered showers are likely across southwest England, but for much of central, southern and eastern England, it should be a dry day with sunny spells. Tonight some rain and showers is likely across western Scotland and across Wales, western parts of England and western parts of Northern Ireland. Expect maximum temperatures of 14 to 21 Celsius.
