Monday
An increasingly wet and windy day to come across England and Wales. The rain will be heavy and persistent for much of the day but may not extend into the far north of England. 25 to 35mm may fall across parts of Wales and England with even more over the hills. Gales will affect southern coast. For Scotland it should be fair and dry with the best of the sunshine after a dry morning. Rain spreads up the Northern Ireland for the afternoon. It will feel quite chilly with maximum temperatures of 15 to 18 Celsius.
Monday Night
This evening and into the first part of the night very strong easterly winds will be blowing to 40 mph across northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Further spells of moderate to heavy rain will affect England and Wales and the rain becomes lighter overnight. Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England will be dry with clear spells. Expect minimum temperatures of 7 to 13 Celsius.
Tuesday
Today a brisk east northeast wind will prevail across Britain. Cloudy across Wales and southern half of England with some patchy outbreaks of rain will turn to scattered showers in the afternoon as skies brightened. A few showers to come across northern Scotland otherwise much of northern Britain should be fair and dry. The showers fade with a dry evening to come and for much of United Kingdom it will stay dry overnight. Maximum temperatures of 14 to 20 Celsius.
Wednesday
A few showers and some patchy outbreaks of rain may affect southwest England and parts of Wales. Much of the country though, should be dry with variable cloud and some sunnier spells. Going the night outbreaks of rain will tend spread in across much of England and Wales. This may be heavy across Northern Ireland. Much of Scotland remain chiefly dry. Expect maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 Celsius.
