This morning a band of rain with some heavy bursts on it will clear northern England by the afternoon. Lots of showers to affect northern Scotland today. In the afternoon expect a mix of cloud, sunny spells and well scattered showers across England and Wales with most places staying dry. Pleasantly warm in the sunshine in the south with maximum temperatures of 16 to 23 Celsius.

Saturday Night
This evening the showers across northern Scotland will fade by tonight. There will be a good deal of dry weather across England and Wales but there remain the risk of a few showers across central parts of England this evening. Expect minimum temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.

Sunday
An area of heavy rain may affect the far north of Scotland today. Apart from a few scattered showers across south eastern parts of England, most of southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales should have a fine, dry day and again it will feel pleasantly warm in sunny spells. It should be fine evening and night throughout most parts of the United Kingdom with clear spells and some patches of fog by morning. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 22 Celsius.

With high pressure in charge, it's going to be a fair, dry day to come across all parts of Britain with sunny spells and patchy amounts of cloud after any early mistiness clears. It may turn cloudy across northern Scotland. It remains dry throughout course of the evening and night with mostly clear skies. A few mist and fog patches are likely to develop across central, north eastern and southern parts of England. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 22 Celsius.
