Wednesday
High pressure stays in control through today. There is a chance of some morning mist and fog patches, especially in more western areas. These clearing quickly to leave sunny spells. Eastern areas of England and Scotland are always at risk of seeing some cloudier skies, but a few bright spells here too. Thicker cloud affecting the far northwest of Scotland. Highs near 17 to 21C.

Wednesday night
A dry night to come. Clear skies will allow mist and fog patches to form in the west and north. More eastern parts of England are likely to be seeing some cloud, and there is the chance of a few spots of drizzle affecting the coasts of East Anglia and southeast England. Cool under the clear skies at 5C, but milder on eastern coasts where there is more cloud at 10C.

Thursday
High pressure is centred to the east of the country on Thursday. This may bring some cloud and early spots of drizzle to East Anglia and southeast England. The cloud will be breaking here with sunny spells developing. Dry to the north and west throughout the day with more sunshine. becoming rather breezy on southern coasts of England. Highs at 17C in the cloudier east, 22C in the sunnier west.

Friday
Pressure remains high through the country on Friday. The high will be centred to the east. More cloud in eastern and southern areas though this morning, and this may produce some spots of drizzle at times. Further north and west it should be brighter with sunny spells. Gradually becoming brighter in other areas during the day. Highs at 16 to 23C.
