Monday
Early morning fog patches and low cloud may be locally dense and slow to clear some low lying areas in the south and east of England. Little wind through the day, just a gentle south-westerly breeze in the south, a little fresher in the west of Ireland and Scotland. Cloudy, and drizzly rain likely to continue for western Scotland. A scattering of showers developing for England and Wales, locally heavy, but very much hit and miss, and many places will stay dry. Hazy sunshine breaking through, although often cloudy. Highs 17 to 21C by afternoon, and may reach 23C in the south-east in any sunshine.
Monday night
Any residual showers fade away by Monday evening. A little patchy rain overnight in the west of Ireland and Scotland. Quite cloudy, and a brisk southerly breeze in the north and west. Light winds across England and Wales will allow areas of patchy fog to form overnight, locally dense toward dawn on Tuesday. Overnight lows between 8 and 12C for most.
Tuesday
Early mist and fog patches across central and southern England on Tuesday morning, locally dense and slow to clear. Fronts approach the west of Ireland, bringing a band of patchy drizzly rain to Ireland and western Scotland, spreading gradually east, although amounting to very little away from western coasts and hills. England and Wales likely to remain dry and warm, with hazy sunshine, best in the east, but clouding over from the west. A fresh southerly breeze for Scotland, Ireland and regions around the Irish Sea. Light winds for much of England and Wales. Highs 17 to 22C, warmest in the south and east.
Wednesday
Weak fronts move eastwards across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, bringing occasional outbreaks of showery rain, most frequent toward the north and west, whilst amounting to very little in southern and eastern England. A westerly breeze, strongest in Northern Ireland and western Scotland. A little sunshine, mostly in the east. Pressure is expected to build later from the south-west. Highs 15 or 16C in the north-west, to 21 or 22C in the south-east.
