Tuesday
An area of rain will spread in across western Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning and in the afternoon this pushes in across northwest England, western Wales and Cornwall as it clears Northern Ireland. Central and eastern parts of England along with eastern Scotland will have a dry day with sunnier spells. A few fog patches across eastern Scotland and south west England my be dense at first. Warm in the south with maximum temperatures of 16 to 21 Celsius.

Tuesday Night
Some light rain to come across Scotland, northern England, Wales, The West Midlands and south west England this evening. Overnight this becomes very patchy as it drifts into central and southern parts of England. Another area of rain moves into western Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight. Expect lows of 10 to 14C.

Wednesday
Cloudy this morning with outbreaks of rain, this heavier across western Scotland. In the afternoon showers are expected across western and southern parts of England along with Wales and north west Scotland. Fair and dry across much of eastern Britain. Most places will have a dry evening and night with clear spells. Maximum temperatures of 16 to 21 Celsius.

Thursday
It becomes increasingly windy today, especially across Scotland with gales for the evening and night. High pressure should give much of the country a fair, dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. A front though will bring some rain into north west Scotland. Heavier rain to come across Scotland with light rain across Northern Ireland and Cumbria. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 21 Celsius.
