Thursday
A dry but increasingly breezy start to the morning over most of the UK. Coud and rain in Ireland, some of it heavy, will be reaching southwest Wales and southwest England during the early part of this morning. Some brighter spells further north and east, although always plenty of cloud. During this afternoon the rain staying across Northern Ireland, Wales, and edges into southern England and the Midlands, but becoming lighter and more patchy here. Becoming windy for all with temperatures at a mild 10 to 14C.

Thursday night
Rain affecting Scotland through tonight, some of it heavy at times, although turning lighter by the morning. Staying wet throughout in southeast Scotland with a further risk of flooding here. A band of heavier rain passing through Irland, southwest England and Wales by midnight, and then through the Midlands and into northern and eastern England and Scotland by the morning. Lows at 7 to 10C.

Friday
Low pressure remains to the west of Ireland on Friday. A front associated with the low brings rain through Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern and eastern parts of England, and some of this will be heavy. It is likely that the rain lasts into the afternoon across eastern England and much of central and eastern Scotland. Heavy showers follow to southern Ireland and southwest England. The rest of England and Wales will be drier with the cloud breaking and a few brighter spells developing. Highs near a mild 9 to 13C. Windy in eastern and northern areas at first, but these easing as the day progresses.

Saturday
Low pressure remains southwest of the country on Saturday. There will be further heavy showers in southern Ireland, southwest England and perhaps the southwest of Wales. More cloud and rain in northern and eastern Scotland. Drier for other areas with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Remaining mild at 10 to 14C.
