Rather a cloudy morning over eastern parts of the country. Wet through Shetland and Orkney with this area of rain slipping into the far northeast of Scotland in the afternoon. Mostly dry for England and Wales with a few sunny spells here and there, although some showers in Wales and the far south of England at first. There could be some dense fog affecting northeast England through the morning, and although most clears, some patches may linger into the afternoon. This afternoon should be dry for most with the best of any sunny spells in western England, Wales and Northern Ireland, although moe cloud always tending to affect eastern areas. Highs at 6C in central Scotland, 12C in southern England.
Saturday night
A wet night in the east of Scotland, with some more outbreaks of rain perhaps affecting the east coasts of northeast England too. Scattered showers, a few heavy in southwest England and southern Ireland. Elsewhere it should be mostly dry but rather cloudy. The best of any clear skies towards the west. A touch of frost in the far northwest of England and southwest Scotland, but the cloud keeping temperatures up elsewhere, lows of 3 to 8C.
Sunday
Low pressure will be to the south of Cornwall on Sunday. A front brings rain through much of central, northern and eastern Scotland, with only the south and west tending to stay drier. Fog patches may be a problem in much of England and Wales on Sunday morning, these lifting to leave broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Showers affecting southern coasts, and parts of southwest England. Rather foggy in Ireland too at first, but this clearing to leave the day dry with broken cloud and a few sunny spells. Temperatures at 7 to 12C.
Monday
Pressure remains low through Monday. There will be further spells of rain over eastern Scotland and the far northeast of England, with some showers on southern coasts of England. For most other areas it will be rather damp and murky with plenty of cloud at first, and some fog patches. Some breaks developing in the cloud, the best in the west where there may be a few sunny spells. Highs at 7 to 11C.
