Rain Edging in from North Sea Dense Fog seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
Quite a dull and misty morning with a good deal of fog in the Midlands up into northern England and Scotland. The fog will be locally dense and will lift into low cloud in the afternoon not much sun around. A number of sharp showers are expected across the south west to about the Isle of Wight in the morning while persistent rain affects north eastern Scotland. During the afternoon an area of rain will move in across East Anglia, the Greater London area, Lincolnshire and to areas north along the North Sea coasts into northeast Scotland. Occasional heavy showers will be found along the channel coasts. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
Sunday night
During the evening and night north east winds will be strengthening across Britain as that area of rain in the east pushes west across most parts of the country. Some heavy bursts are possible but little in the way of rainfall is expected across western Scotland, northwest England and Northern Ireland. Expect lows of 6 to 8 Celsius.
Monday
Rather windy across the country today, especially across Scotland. Overcast and rather wet this morning with outbreaks of rain across much of the United Kingdom. In the afternoon it should become a bit drier across central and Eastern areas with a few showers and staying rather cloudy. Further spells of rain are expected across Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England in the afternoon. Still a few showers to come around eastern coasts of England and Scotland to the evening and night while also heavier showers may push in across south east England during the night. Feeling cold today, especially in the wind with maximum temperatures of 9 to 10 Celsius.
Tuesday
Another rather cold day with a brisk east southeast wind across the country. This morning showers are expected around eastern coasts of England and Scotland with an area of showers moving up into central and southern parts of England. In the afternoon expect a good deal of cloud to come across the country with scattered showers with the best of any sunshine across western parts of Scotland and northwest England. An area of persistent and heavy rain spreads in across Wales and southern parts of England in the night while number of showers persist along north sea coasts. Maximum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.
