Later in the morning it becomes drier and brighter across eastern parts of England and Scotland with coastal showers. In the afternoon rain across western parts of England and across Wales will be clearing. Scattered showers will persist around North Sea and channel coasts. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
Monday night
During the evening occasional showers will be around eastern and southern coasts of Britain with western and central areas dry. During the night the coastal showers will gradually be fading away with most places dry. It stays rather breezy into the evening and night. Expect lows of 4 to 7 Celsius.
Tuesday
Another rather cold day with a brisk east wind across the country. Expect a good of dry weather and quite a bit of cloud as well. The cloud may be thick enough to produce some patchy bits of rain across parts of Wales and south west England. Largely dry across the country for the evening and night but it's likely to stay quite cloudy. Expect maximum temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.
Wednesday
Some patchy. Light rain may affect Northern Ireland and parts of south west England and Wales. A few scattered showers will affect North Sea coasts. Overall it's a mainly dry day with a good deal of cloud. Some sunshine may develop across eastern and central parts of England in the afternoon. A dry evening and night across the country with variable cloud and clear spells. Patchy frost may develop where skies are clear. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
