Bright spells developing Drizzle for some seiten=4 abk=focus

Tuesday
Quite a murky start to the day on Tuesday for most, but overall Tuesday is going to be a better day than Monday. A few spots of drizzle at first on hills and coasts facing the southeast, but these tending to fade. Then the cloud should break with some sunny spells developing here and there. The best of any sunshine always affecting more western areas, such as west Wales and northwest Scotland. Bits of showery rain troubling eastern Scotland from time to time, and there could be a few showers in southern England too. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Tuesday night
Cloud and drizzle drifting onto eastern coasts tonight. Thickening cloud in the Midlands and parts of southern England and eastern Wales giving drizzle here. Further outbreaks of drizzle for Northern Ireland too. More persistent rain affecting southwest Ireland, reaching the far southwest of England by morning. Drier elsewhere with some clear spells in northwest England and western Scotland. Lows of 4 to 8C.

Wednesday
Wednesday sees a ridge of high pressure to the east with low pressure to the west. Cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle affecting eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England. An occluded front passes through Ireland and southwest England bringing rain here. Elsewhere cloud will be broken with some bright or sunny spells developing and it should be largely dry. High temperatures near 9 to 12C.

Thursday
High pressure remains to the east through Thursday. A southeast flow affects all parts of the country. There will be some cloud and drizzle for many,m with most of the drizzle affecting southern and western areas. It is likely to be rather murky too with lots of mist. A few inland areas may become brighter in the afternoon with some sunny spells developing. Highs near 9 to 11C.
