Cloudy, rain north Turning colder seiten=4 abk=focus
Monday
Rather windy in the south east of England today. A front spreads outbreaks of rain in across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon. For most of England and Wales it will be a largely dry, albeit cloudy day with some mist in the morning. Some pockets of patchy rain or drizzle here and there but for most, it's dry. Maximum temperatures of 6 to 8 Celsius.
Monday night
Through the evening and night the rain in the north becomes light as it drifts into northern parts of England and into Wales and Cornwall in the night. Clear and colder to the north, milder and drizzly to the south. Strong north to north west winds will develop across the country tonight. Expect lows of 2 to 5 Celsius.
Tuesday
Tuesday looks like a cold, windy day with strong north east winds across England and Wales making it feel even colder. A lot of loud to come across England and Wales with some patchy bits of rain. Sunnier across Scotland and Northern Ireland and dry. Much of the country should be dry overnight and it stays windy across England and Wales. With less wind and clear spells in the north, expect a frost across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the far north of England. Expect maximum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
Wednesday
A brisk north east wind persists across England and Wales today. High pressure should give the country a dry day with the best of the sunshine in the north and the west. We keep lots of cloud across East Anglia, the south east and the far south of England. Overnight it stays dry with a good deal of cloud across the country but where there are clear spells expect a local frost. Maximum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius.
