Monday
With high pressure over the United Kingdom it's going to be a dry day to come. Where skies were clear overnight it will start frosty with a few freezing fog patches. For much of the country we should see a good deal of cloud but some breaks in the cloud should develop in the afternoon allowing some sunnier spells. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius but colder where any fog lingers longest.

Monday night
This evening and tonight remains dry across the country. Throughout the evening and night we expect keep a good deal of cloud. There will be some clear spells in places and where skies remain mostly clear, expect a frost and some fog patches develop by morning. Expect lows of -1 to 3 Celsius.

Tuesday
With high pressure dominating, it's going to remain settled and largely dry. While it will be dry, cloud amounts are difficult to ascertain. Overall expect a good deal of cloud with a few breaks giving a few sunnier intervals here and there. The cloud could be thick enough to give a few spots and drizzle to the hills and coasts in the morning. Expect little overall change to come during the evening and night with patchy fog a frost developing where cloud breaks occur. Expect top temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.

Wednesday
Wednesday we're likely to keep lots of cloud across the country with perhaps a few spots of drizzle in the west and over the western hills. Overall it's going to be dry. Perhaps a few breaks in the cloud may give some fleeting sunshine in the east in the afternoon. It continues dry for the evening and night and generally cloudy. Expect top temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
