Thursday
A rather cloudy but dry start to the morning on Thursday. There may be a few breaks in the cloud, mostly northern England and eastern Scotland, but for most the day stays rather dull. Thursday Night
Staying dry in eastern areas tonight. However, the west will be seeing some drizzle, and the winds will be increasing here. Rain arrives in Ireland after midnight, spreading eastwards to be over the far west of Cornwall by the morning. A few spots of rain affecting central and southern England later in the night and turning breezier in the east too. Lows near 2 to 5C.

Friday
Low pressure is going to be bringing a wet day through Ireland, Wales and most of England. The rain is going to be most persistent in more western and southern areas, becoming more patchy from the north by evening. There will be some rain in southern Scotland at first too, but this clearing into the afternoon with some bright spells developing. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Saturday
An area of low pressure is expected to move away from southeast England on Saturday, although will bring some cloud and a few outbreaks of rain in eastern areas. Further west it should be brighter with some sunny spells and is going to be dry too. Highs at 5 to 9C.
