Cloud and outbreaks drizzle still affecting England and Wales overnight, most of it to the south and east. Rather misty in these areas too. A drier night in Scotland and Ireland, and turning drier in west Wales and northwest England too. Some heavy showers continuing to affect southern coasts of England. Lows near 1 to 4C.

A small area of low pressure off southeast England on Saturday. This brings cloud and some spots of rain across southern and eastern England as well as eastern Scotland.Probably turning drier as the day progresses here. Drier to the west of England, Wales and Scotland as well as Ireland with some bright spells developing here. Tops near 5 to 9C.
Sunday
High pressure east of the country on Sunday, with low pressure west and south. It is likely to be rather cloudy in more eastern and southern areas with the chance of some drizzle here as well. Increasing winds bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain to Ireland and western Scotland. Generally drier in western areas with the best of sunshine here. Highs at 6 to 10C.
