Monday
This morning a band of moderate to heavy rain across northern England, Wales, the Midlands and the south west along with Wales will be moving eastward reaching East Anglia and the south east gradually during the course of the afternoon. As it does so skies clear and turn sunny from the west with a few showers across Northern Ireland and western Scotland, these turning wintry across the hills of Scotland. Expect maximum temperatures of 7 to 9 Celsius.

Monday night
A wet evening to come across East Anglia and the south east but the rest of Britain mainly dry with clear spells. Gradually the rain does clear from the East Anglia and south east during the night. Some rain moves into parts of northern Scotland, otherwise a dry, colder night but rather breezy with some icy patches developing. Expect lows of -1 to 3 Celsius.

Tuesday
Quite windy across northern parts of Britain today. Some rain and drizzle to affect Northern Ireland and north west Scotland. For Wales, southern parts of Scotland and England expect a fine, dry day to come with good spells of sunshine. Cloudy tonight across northern Britain with light rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Clear and dry overnight with patchy frost. Expect top temperatures of 7 to 8 Celsius.

Wednesday
Another windy day with gales developing across Northern Ireland and Scotland later. An area of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning may drift into Cumbria and north west Wales during the afternoon. Fair and dry across the remainder of England and Wales with sunny spells. Little change this evening but the rain may creep into south west and north western parts of England as gales develop in the north. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.
