Rain spreading east Windy and milder seiten=4 abk=focus

Sunday
As a front comes in from the west it will become an increasingly windy day with gales developing around western coasts. Central and eastern parts of England will have a fine, sunny morning while heavy spells of rain affect the rest of the country with heavy snow over the hills of Scotland and northern England. For much of the United Kingdom it's looking like quite a miserable, wet afternoon with spells of rain, still with snow on the northern hills. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 10 Celsius.

Sunday night
A windy evening to come across the country with the rain clearing all but East Anglia and the south east. Here the rain clears early in the night. A number of showers will follow the rain into Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England, south west England and Wales. The showers will be of snow over the hills from Wales northward. Some icy patches will develop across northern and central areas with lows of 0 to 4 Celsius.

Monday
Windy and feeling colder today with a good deal of cloud, sunnier spells and scattered rain, sleet and snow showers while an area of more persistent snow may affect northern parts of Scotland. It remains windy into the evening and night with gales near exposed, western coasts. There remains a risk of rain, sleet and wintry showers across western parts of Britain. Expect top temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.

Tuesday
Another windy day to come across the country and these brisk westerly winds will continue to feed in showers to western parts of the United Kingdom, these wintry over the hills. Most central and eastern areas should be chiefly dry with the west of the sunshine though a shower can't be ruled out. Most of the showers will fade away this evening with most places dry overnight. A frost will develop in sheltered locations along with a few icy patches. Expect top temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.
