Sunday
A breezy day to come across the country. An area of rain clears Scotland this morning and spreads into northern England, Wales and Cornwall with showers replacing the rain across western Scotland, these of snow over the Highlands. In the afternoon that area of rain becomes lighter spilling across The Midlands and the south then into East Anglia later this afternoon. Staying dry in the south east. Quite a mild day still in the south with maximum temperatures of 7 to 14 Celsius north to south.
Sunday night
Apart from a few showers in the far north west of Scotland, this evening will be fine and dry with clear spells and turning quite chilly. Overnight it's going to remain dry across the country and with clear skies and light winds, a widespread frost will develop. Expect lows of 0 to 4 Celsius.
Monday
Today a strong and deep area of low pressure is forecast to run north of Ireland and Scotland bringing a very windy day with potentially damaging wind gusts of 70-80mph to northern Scotland this evening. Rain across Northern Ireland, western Scotland, Wales and south west England in the morning moves in across northern England in the afternoon with The Midlands, East Anglia and the south east dry. This clears all but East Anglia and the south east tonight. A blustery night to come. Expect top temperatures of to 7 to 13 Celsius.
Tuesday
Any residual rain in the far south east clears and with high pressure building in, much of the country is looking fine and dry with sunny spells. Feeling quite mild in the south. Windier and cooler in the north. Fine and dry for the evening. Overnight rain may edge in across Wales and south west England with a frost in the north. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.
