Monday
As the winds lessen and veer to the south east across England and Wales it won't feel as chilly today. It continues quite windy across Scotland from the east. Generally it's going to stay disappointingly cloudy across much of Britain with sporadic outbreaks of patchy rain. By the end of the afternoon it may turn sunnier across Kent. Expect maximum temperatures of 6 to 10 Celsius.

Monday night
We keep a good deal of cloud with some patchy rain across parts of the country into the evening and the night. It may be dry across eastern parts of England with some clear spells developing along with some fog patches by morning. Expect lows of 2 to 5 Celsius.

Tuesday
Much milder across England and Wales. Rather cloudy with a few scattered showers today across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England, Wales and the south west. Central and eastern parts of England will be dry with the best chance of seeing some decent sunshine. A dry evening and night and with lighter winds and well broken cloud across Wales and the southern half of England, expect a patchy frost in rural areas and some fog patches by morning. Expect top temperatures of to 8 to 14 Celsius.

Wednesday
After fog patches clear, the best of the sunshine to day may be across East Anglia and the south of England along with north west Scotland. Elsewhere we expect lots of cloud and in the afternoon this may thick enough to produce a few showers across Wales and the south west. The cloud is expected to melt away this evening with a widespread frost possible overnight along with some fog patches. Mild again today with top temperatures of 8 to 14 Celsius.
